Ridgeview Fitzrovia Rosé was served to Barack Obama & Her Majesty the Queen at a Buckingham Palace State Banquet, if it’s good enough for them…..?!
A blend of the three noble grapes, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier made with the Great British Classic Method (our equivalent of Champagne – Méthod Traditionelle). It won a Silver at the Decanter World Wine Awards in 2018 and is available to buy at £35 a bottle- on their website at Waitrose and other online retailers!
I was lucky enough to enjoy this bottle as part of an amazing Seafood hamper sent to me by Fish To Your Door in collaboration with Ridgeview. It is a seafood pairing delight and was delicious with the oysters and lobster.
Beautiful deep pink hue and fine persistent bubbles. Summer berries of raspberry and strawberry with a touch of citrus and honeysuckle. Very refreshing but with a delicious creaminess to it as well, highly recommended.
I must admit oysters for me only go with Chablis, vines grown in Kimmeridgean soil, laced with ……. Jurassic oyster shells 😂👍🍇

Also love Oysters with Chablis or with a bottle of Sancerre! 👌

Well, I think Sancerre might just be in the Kimmeridgean belt too, it’s not too far from Chablis
